Very good closing speed from his perch at safety, with potential to be elite. Coach’s son is a top Class of 2029 recruit brimming with potential. First saw him as an eightht grader and he keeps improviing and getting better. Very instinctive, strong v. the run, good wrap-up tackle. Has some growing to do, but should develop into a top player. Great pursuit, range, athletic ability.

Parker is a talented and versatile safety who is a chess piece on the football field. He saw time on a talented Princeton defense as a freshman. His versatility comes in many forms. He can play from centerfield up to the line of scrimmage. His ability to cover in space and ball skills make him a threat to pick it in the secondary. What makes him different is that he has the size and physicality to play in the box as well. His ability to play downhill and physical will make him a threat in the box whether in the run game or blitzing. Avery already holds Big Ten offers from Michigan and Indiana along with SEC and ACC offers.

I first noticed Princeton Class of 2029 defensive back Avery Parker Avery Parker 6'2" | 180 lbs | DB Princeton | 2029 State OH at his team’s college day one year ago. Parker, the son of head coach Andre Parker, is a tough and physical safety with great coverage skills and outstanding closing speed v. the run. Parker has a nice frame with great height, size and plenty of time and room to grow. He recently picked up offers from Louisville, Kentucky and Michigan.
