Airriss is having a great season this year. He plays as a CB. Against the pass, he is elite in press coverage as he uses one or two hands to jam the WR and uses his very good play strength and physical toughness to slow down and reroute his man preventing him from breaking open. He exhibits good ball skills as he plays through the hands of the WR and creates a PBU. Against the run, he quickly keys and diagnoses the play. He shows excellent closing speed in pursuit and exhibits good explosiveness as he makes the tackle near the LOS preventing a gain of significant yardage.

In 2022, Airriss helped the Princeton Vikings to a 9-win season where they held opposing offenses to 12.75 points per game and advanced to the 2nd round of the playoffs. He plays as a CB. Against the pass, he does a great job of reading the hips of the WR while in off-man and displays good play speed to keep his man in front of him. He shows good ball skills as he times his hands well to create a PBU. Against the run, he displays very good ability to contain the outside run and exhibits great explosiveness as he delivers a powerful hit preventing a first down.

Airriss plays as a CB. In zone coverage, he uses his very good play speed to patrol his zone while reading the QB. He tracks the ball well in the air and times his hands well to disrupt the trajectory of the ball for a PBU. In man coverage, he does an excellent job of matching the feet of the WR and stays in phase preventing him from breaking open. Against the run, he quickly locates the RB, plays with good leverage and delivers a nice form tackle preventing a again of significant yardage.
