Miguel is going to be a steal for whoever picks him up. I don’t understand why the whole GLIAC isn’t after him, and I truly think he’s a MAC talent.
Go to his Twitter, watch his film, talk to his coaches. I have, and everything I’ve seen tells me high GLIAC – MAC. I’ll get what I think are two of the most major gripes I can say about Miguel.rnThe offensive scheme he’s in doesn’t allow for many pass-blocking opportunities, so his reps there are limited. I also don’t know his measurements, but his arms don’t look incredibly long. He could also be a bit more agile, and can struggle against more agile rushers.
Other than that, he’s an elite run-blocking lineman. If you watch him in person, you’ll know that the mentality is there. His first step and initial pop are amazing. He’s able to drive back just about any opposing IDL, and once he’s got you, you’re either getting driven back 10yds or getting pancaked. Miguel may be the best run blocker in this class, especially when put up against rushers that are bulkier.
