Dacari is already ranked highly, but I feel he’s got the potential for even more growth.
Dacari showed the same near-elite athletic ability that I saw at the MHSAA prospect camp in Jenison. Playing off-ball, Dacari was able to shoot gaps, earn free rides into the backfield, and blow up plays. Many of his best highlights come via a well-timed blitz, but he’s also got a handful of genuinely good run reads. Although a tad short, Dacari’s highlight tape does a great job showcasing his athletic traits and elite upside. I’m still extremely high on Dacari and think he could grow into a great Power 4 prospect.

Can’t wait to dive deeper into the tape with Dacari. Media outlets in West Michigan have expressed how productive Dacari has been, especially on the defensive side of the football. Commonly tallying 10+ tackles per game, Dacari is progressing nicely as a hybrid LB.
Having watched Dacari this past offseason, I know that he has the athletic ability to realistically play DE, LB, or S, or even DB. Impressive lateral speed, and as explosive as they come for a sophomore.
If you’re watching the game in Muskegon tomorrow night, keep an eye on Dacari!

Sky’s the limit for this Muskegon LB/ATH. His performance at the MHSAA camp in Jenison still sticks in my mind to this day. He passed the eye test with flying colors- he’s got an excellent frame and standout athleticism. Dacari looked phenomenal in drill work.
The impressive showing didn’t stop with drills. I thought the 1on1 period was when he was at his best. Dacari did an excellent job using his length and speed to get in position to break up passes. He’s still a bit raw in this area, but even though he has stuff to work on, he’s still way ahead of the curve. I’m expecting Dacari to earn time on both sides of the ball this season. Excited to see how he ends up being utilized.

A current Watch List player who is, without a doubt, moving to the rankings.
An incredibly impressive outing at the MHSAA camp at Jenison. Has the size and athletic ability of a future star. It also seems like he’s put on some good weight and a couple of extra inches than what is currently listed. Dacari will be ranked, and he may be ranked quite high.

Dacari was one of the biggest surprises of the camp! I’ll be honest, he was by far the best Class of 2028 prospect that I scouted, and I tried to get a look at all of them.
In a nutshell, Dacari has excellent size, alongside above-average athletic traits. Plus, he had a number of good wins in pass coverage- something I see even the best run defending RBs struggle with. Dacari still has a ways to go when it comes to reaction time and all-around pass coverage, but he’s WAY ahead of the curve compared to the rest in his class. I’m fully expecting Dacari to grow into an awesome college prospect relatively quickly.
