may honestly be the favorite to be the Sack King of Michigan this fall. He’s lanky, strong and has some technical aspects to his game. He is currently #1 at his position and #10 overall in the class of ‘27. I love the variety out of Kitchen from rep to rep. Whether it be a speed move, a push and pull, or using strength, he knows how to maximize his impact on every play. His ceiling is high and I expect some spectacular performances this fall.

I can’t say anything about Recarder that hasn’t already been said. Elite size, elite strength, and exceptional athletic traits. When the pads are on, Recarder can easily out-muscle the vast majority of high school offensive tackles. When the pads aren’t on, Recarder is still a high-end defensive end, with a few areas to still improve on.
Recarder has good bend, a great getoff, and a decent variety of pass rush moves. The biggest hurdle for Recarder currently is developing a feel for these pass rush moves. Know where and when to produce a move while developing improved counters, Recarder could be ranked #1. For now, he’s the #10 player in this class and one of those guys who should have an opportunity to play anywhere.

At a glance, Recarder is the most prestigious defensive lineman in Michigan. I’ve said several times- Recarder has elite size, alongside high-end strength and athleticism. Recarder is simply too big and too explosive for the vast majority of high school tackles.
Recarder obviously checks a ton of boxes. He honestly looks like the easy pick for best D-Lineman in Michigan. I will not argue that Recarder has the highest ceiling, which is a factor in the rankings.
Skill-wise, Recarder is still a little raw. About half the time, Recarder makes a move, it works, and gosh does it look good. The other half, Recarder’s initial move fails, and he struggles to recover. Looking for better counters and better recovery after the initial move fails.
Being real- Recarder will very maintain his #1 EDGE/DL spot.

- In-person eval highlighted strenghts and weaknesses
- Elite size, elite strength
- Good variety of moves. Was simply too explosive for most tackles
- Flashes bend. A bit inconsistent with bend and pad level, though
- Struggles to recover and counter if beat with initial move
- Still a solid Power 4 prospect. Has chance to develop into a CFB star.

I was a bit surprised to see Recarder at camp, mostly becuase the top-tier D1 prospects tend to skip camps like these (vast majority D2, D3 coaches in attendance).
Still, Recarder came, worked hard, got some coaching, and still dominated. Recarder won with a small but very effective move list. Rep started with a great getoff, helped out by Recarder’s 500+ lb squat. Then, he could dip and rip around the offensive tackle, showing good bend. He also mixed in a spin and push-pull.
Like literally every single high school prospect, Recarder still has room to grow. He wasn’t perfect, but he’s explosive and fundamentally sound enough to dominate most high school offensive linemen with ease.

Recarder checks a LOT of boxes. Enough boxes to be the #1 EDGE player and a very probably B1G 10 or SEC prospect. He’s big, tall, long, and squats 500. Absolute monster of a football player, and worlds above the vast majority of high school football players. Plus, he has an elite offensive line to train against.
He doesn’t have a ton of tape for this season, but what he does have is impressive. Love his burst, love the length, and he’s just got to keep repping pass rush. There’s no reason why Recarder can’t be a top-tier college football player.

Recarder was a great watch this season when I got the chance to see him. He’s a big framed EDGE with long limbs and great get off. His film has a TON to love about it. His speed and bend is great and his ability to win reps outside or inside really speaks to his versatility. I would love to see him in person this spring at some camps. There’s no reason why he can’t be one of the most dominant EDGE guys this state has seen in awhile!

- Ideal size, long arms and strong legs to anchor himself
- Great get off, extremely quick and violent hands, can out-muscle offensive linemen or beat them with some finesse
- Turned everything back inside, or if ball carrier tried to get around him, made sure tackles
- Picking up P4 interest-very clear why

can accomplish this season. Last season, Recarter had a bit of a breakout season, putting up good numbers and receiving several Division 1 offers. Though Recarter was a Freshman last season, his Varsity inexperience showed. Watching Recarter’s tape, there’s no doubt that he’s a Power 4 prospect. His size, athletic traits, stats, and the fact he attends Muskegon make for a very likely path to greatness.
Now, let’s dive into Recarter’s highlight tape. Right off the bat, it’s apparent that Recarter is a very high-motor player, which is one of the top traits that an elite defensive lineman needs to have. His size and effort allowed Recarter to oftentimes effortlessly shed blocks and wreak havoc. If I had to nitpick, Recarter is underdeveloped with overall pass rush and could put on some more muscle. If Recarter can become more fluid with his hands and display some bend, he’ll earn a ton more B1G 10 offers. Lastly, Recarter can combine that with added muscle, every school in the country could be after him. Recarter is currently the #1 Class of 2027 prospect in West Michigan, and I can’t wait to see the legacy he leaves with Muskegon.
