Big, long frame. Grass-scraping length. Has room to easily surpass 200. Moves well, but wouldn’t call him a burner. Raw, lumbering as a runner. Good patience. Runs hard. Subtle, yet effective sidesteps and adjustments to create own yards. Not as developed as other backs, but I love upside. Holds offers, will continue to add more. Squeezes the most out of each carry. Reminds me of Kerryon Johnson. Only going to improve as he refines as a mover and develops his top gear.

Satterwhite is a 2027 prospect out of Georgia that can literally play any position on the field, excluding offensive line or quarterback. The 5-foot-11, 170-pounder played both strong and free safety for the Georgia Future Stars, and made plays all week long. In the first game against South Carolina, Satterwhite hauled in a crucial interception and also had six tackles against a team with a ton of weapons. In the championship game Florida, Satterwhite also did what he could to keep a team with as many as four, or five skill players that have FBS projections from me, at bay. Speed, power, ball skills and versatility are going to make him a coveted recruit in the coming years.

There is an untold philosophy behind closed doors among coaches, and that is “D-Backs are the most athletic players on the field.” I have also heard that defensive backs with a running back background are different animals too. Well Messiah is 2 for 2 if any of these statements are true. He checks off every box in becoming an elite DB: size, athleticism, physicality, range, ball skills, hips and speed. When you have all this going for you, it seems easy to flip flop on both sides of the ball and be affective. The same effortless speed Messiah uses to get behind linebackers during route running is the same speed he displays to keep the ball in front of him on defense. If your lucky enough to get behind him, don’t count you chickens yet because just when you thought you had separation, he will close the gap faster than a cheetah leaving you scratching your head on a contested incompletion. I really like his ball skills and excited to see how he will fill out his Varsity uniform next year

Satterwhite showed he’s a big weapon out of the backfield. He can get open in the passing game and made play after play with ease. His quickness and straight-line speed allowed him to get behind defenders down the field when he went up against linebackers. Satterwhite impressed with his ability to catch the ball out of the backfield.

The biggest and baddest looking RB in a talented position group at the PRZ Next SE Showcase, Satterwhite impressed coaches and scouts alike throughout the day for a number of different reasons. Big-time potential and projection to the college ranks if he can continue his athletic development and prowess in 1-on-1 situations. Ran great routes of the backfield for a RB and beat every competitor he came across during RB vs. LB routes. Possessed shake and natural athleticism you don’t see too often from the youth ranks.

Satterwhite brings a nice blend of power and passing game skills. Not a single person on the PRZ Next scouting group is sold he’s a Running Back by the time things are said and done. However, he has a compact build and a naturally low center of gravity, despite being 5-foot-11 an 165-pounds. Shatterwhite, who is very well-built, ran with excellent balance and agility throughout his drills. He showed a great feel for setting up wheel routes, he demonstrated the ability to track the ball over his shoulder. Good flexibility and balance to adjust to the poorly thrown pass

Messiah is a 5-foot-11, 160-pound athlete who can seemingly do it all on the football field. Coming out of the state of Georgia, Messiah has been competing against some of the best competition in the country very early on in his career. A Running Back on the offensive side of the ball and a chess piece on defense, there’s a lot to be excited about here. Messiah seems to be more of the defensive hybrid type who plays both the run and the pass at an elite level. In pass coverage, Messiah’s strong suit is having the ball skills and the athleticism to break passes up and track wideouts in coverage. In the run game, Messiah has the speed and the awareness to track where the ball is going and make a play on the ball carrier while he is in pursuit. Overall, Messiah is the type of athlete who can fit into any scheme and play almost any position at a high level. There is a very high ceiling for Messiah and his continued development will be exciting to watch.
