One of the top young backs you’ll find across West Georgia, Archer is a versatile back who didn’t play like a freshman last season for the mighty Carrollton Trojans. It’s not an easy place to play as a freshman, but Archer made his presence known. He’s a good athlete with above-average size and the potential to be the next great Trojan running back. In a backup role last season, Archer ran for 405 yards and six touchdowns, averaging 6.2 yards per attempt. He also caught 10 passes out of the backfield with one touchdown. His stock is on the rise, and he’s now ranked by Prep Redzone as a top-40 prospect in the state for his class.
