is clearly the next name to watch. He made an immediate impact on special teams this year, forcing fumbles on kickoff coverage and making strong open-field tackles on punt units — effort plays that coaches love.
But his ceiling truly shows on the back end. At 6’2”, 170 pounds, McNair has all the traits of a do-it-all safety. He’s long, rangy, and fluid enough to cover the slot, yet physically sufficient to work downhill and play in the box. His versatility jumps off the tape.
As he grows into his frame and adds more strength, McNair projects as the kind of safety who can line up anywhere — deep, slot, or in the run fit — and still produce. His arrow is pointing straight up, and he’s shaping up to be one of New Jersey’s most intriguing young defensive backs.

is typically the type of prospect I would overlook. This Hudl has two clips that show he is the first man down the field on kickoff, stays in his lane, and effectively squeezes to the ball while wanting to bang and make the tackle; however, what makes McNair a prospect of note is that he currently holds a verbal offer from Syracuse. set to graduate this spring, expect a larger timeshare to be available for McNair this fall.

McNair showed up bigger than I thought he would be, at 5-foot-11 and 160 pounds. After a very good season for the Woodbury Steelers, he made the trip up to North Jersey and had himself a great day at camp. Used his length very well and created throwing windows for his quarterbacks. One of the bigger receivers at camp, he moved pretty well too–McNair was timed at a 4.91 in the forty.

Much like the other wide receiver’s on this list, McNair had to share the ball with a lot of other talented kids for the Woodbury Steelers. He made the most of every opportunity this year and made a lot of big plays.
