About Maximus

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

On the receiving part of being a Tight End I would say that I am very good at seeing the field. I can get separation from my defender using my size and get to my spot. On the blocking side of Tight End I hit hard and I am very aggressive. I try to run through my opponent and I block until the whistle blows.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I believe I am the best ever. I think I can do anything I put my mind to. I give 110% effort every play and I won’t give up until I win.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I play AAU basketball for the South Boulevard Soliders. I also play Basketball and track at Brother Rice High School.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I am a very big leader. I push kids to do not only the big things but the little things right. I try to get my teammates involved as much as I can. I also get the team to where they’re supposed to be whether in the classroom, weight room, film room, and the locker room.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Before the beginning of last season I broke my hand. I couldn’t do much weight training and catching. My hand finally got healed and I had to train a ton if wanted to see the field. I also was competing for the spot against a 5 star D-end on my team. I had to keep pushing myself and going hard in practice. I ended up starting at Tight End on varsity as a freshman.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for colleges that will help me be the best student, player, and person I can be. I want colleges to push me to my limits.
