over the past few offseasons when you would play for Sooner 7 in various 7v7 tournaments. He always impressed us and we thought there was definitely a lot to like about his game. This offseason, Schubert moved from Morrison to nearby Stillwater and that definitely had us intrigued as he was making a significant jump in competition. Schubert immediately answered the call. He really impressed at a team camp that was full of 6A-1 heavy hitters and he’s been lights out all season this fall. He has one of the best deep balls in this class and has shown he’s much more than a small school standout.

started his high school career at Morrison and will be ending it in nearby Stillwater. And if this spring was any indication, Schubert is ready for the step up in competition. Schubert has a fantastic arm and with the weapons that Stillwater has at wide receiver, we anticipate him to put up some big numbers in the passing game. We’ve watched a lot of Schubert in person over the last two offseasons and we think he’s going to be a name to watch. After being run-first last year, Stillwater could switch gears in 2024.
