Lovell Martin III Lovell Martin III 6'0" | 255 lbs | OL Frederick Douglass | 2025 State KY is another Frederick Douglass offensive lineman who has stood out to me so far this season. Martin lines up at center where he is very reliable in pass protection. He gets the snap off quickly and has shown the ability to pick up stunts with ease and use his strong base to keep opposing defensive linemen from getting penetration into the pocket. Lovell also does a great job as a run blocker, showing the ability to drive his man out of the picture with ease to create a running lane. Martin currently holds multiple offers and I expect more to come his way as he has the talent to play at the Division I level.

Lovell Martin III Lovell Martin III 6'0" | 255 lbs | OL Frederick Douglass | 2025 State KY is a player who has had a very successful offseason and will be moving in to the starting center position for the Broncos this season. Martin is a dominant run blocker, showing the ability to explode out of his stance and drive his man down the field with ease. He finishes his blocks with a ton of physicality, resulting in frequent pancake blocks. Martin is also reliable in pass protection, showing the ability to keep a strong base and continue to fight with his hands to gain inside position. Lovell currently holds offers from Ball State, UT Martin, Marshall, and Hanover, and I expect more to come his way as he is a true Division I caliber offensive line prospect.

Lovell Martin III Lovell Martin III 6'0" | 255 lbs | OL Frederick Douglass | 2025 State KY is a player who has been on my radar for a while now and stood out in a big way on Saturday. Martin lines up at center where he is very reliable in pass protection, doing a great job of getting the snap off then getting into his pass set quickly to protect the quarterback. He showed the ability to keep a strong base while taking on contact and continue fighting to gain inside position with his hands. Martin also showed some impressive physicality when finishing his blocks, coming away with several pancake blocks on Saturday. Lovell currently holds offers from Kentucky State and Kentucky Wesleyan, and I expect more to come his way as he definitely has the talent to play at the next level.
