Any time a player can start at left tackle for the 7A State Champion, you know that guy has some special qualities. He’s one of the strongest linemen in the state, especially in the running game, and he can cave the entire side of the defensive line on outside zone runs. He’s a developing pass-blocker with decent reach, and we expect him to continue to grow a bit into a college tackle. Even if he doesn’t, the movement and strength make him an ideal college guard, as well.
