For such a talented player, we really haven’t written much about Vann. His rare blend of size, speed, and strength are scary, and he’s just starting to hit his stride as a defensive tackle. He’s extremely quick off the line and made plenty of plays in the backfield as a sophomore. As he develops a pass-rushing arsenal, he’s going to be one of the best interior defenders in the state.

Vann had a massive impact despite rotating within Grimsley’s deep defensive line, with four sacks and nine tackles for loss last season. He’s not the biggest interior lineman, but he’s strong and relentless, often fighting through double teams to make plays. There’s some serious upside here, as Vann has the frame to add more weight and should see an increased role in 2026.
