. Logan is a prospect I am very confident will find a way to make an impact at the next level because I have seen the hard work and dedication he is willing to put into getting better at his craft. Gross has become a technician on the OL. The senior is always square and balanced from his feet to his shoulders. The big man trusts his footwork and agility to get him where he needs to be, whether mirroring a pass rusher or firing out of his stance in the run game. Logan is also very accurate with his hand placement and punches. Those hands pack a punch too. Enough to put DEs in the dirt on first contact. Gross also possesses the anchor strength to stand up bull rushers. Logan also uses leverage to his advantage as a run blocker and pass blocker. The nearly 6’4″ 265 lbs OT is one of the best at his position, and one of the top players still uncommitted. Tap into the film.

Logan showed off so much fluidity in every rep I caught out of him up at the NDSU prospect camp as a offensive linemen with a feisty first step off the snap. Whether it was in Brookings or up in Fargo that weekend, the hip drive and flexibility Logan has really set a steady tone especially in his Indy Drill reps I got to watch. Anytime you watch a prospect at a sizable prospect camp like NDSU get pulled for more and more reps, that is the sign of prospect that college coaches continuously want to see more out reps out of. Logan’s aggression and positioning with his hands won him a significant amount of reps on tape as this young man has an excellent pad-level on every rep from tape and has those fighting hands you want in your offensive line group. From watching him on Thursday in Brookings to Sunday leaving NDSU, Logan collected five offers in the Northern Sun and I would not be surprised to later this summer him get an FCS opportunity come his way as he is certainly not done yet with his recruitment growing.

Our final OL of the article is the 6’3″ 260 lbs junior OT from Sun Prairie East. Logan has recently seen his recruitment take off with an offer from Bemidji State. Great to see it coming together for the veteran OL who definitely has put in the work over the years. Logan’s powerful hands jump off teh tape. His quick, strong punch is able to stand up DE/OLBs if not send them to the dirt. The accuracy of his punches are just as key as the power behind it. Gross is also very athletic. You can get him out on the edge or downfield to lead screen passes. Logan also possesses the anchor strength to take on bull rushers and blitzers without giving ground. Gross has molded himself into a strong next level prospect.

Don’t overlook the standout Sun Prairie East OL because he is 16th at this position. This WI OL class is ELITE. We are going to see double digit D1 commits just from this position alone. I fully expect the 6’3″ 260 lbs OT to earn many offers from the next level. His time can’t be far away. The All State OL offers versatility. He plays OT, but the more I compare his traits to the traits you want to see out of guards the more excited I get. He has the strength to control the trenches and dig DTs out of their gap. He also is very athletic for the OL position. That gives him the range to pull, get to the second level, and make blocks out in space on screens. No question, Gross also has the lateral agility needed to stay square in front of his opponents while they are pass rushing. I’m looking forward to that first offer rolling in.

The 6’3” 260 lbs OT out of Sun Prairie East is a technician at the position. From the bottom to the top. He plays with a wide, powerful base. His feet take him where he needs to be instead of reaching or bending at the waist. His shoulders stay over his toes. The hand usage is clean. Even when his hands get wide in his highlights you can see him work to get them back inside to proper position. Add in the tenacity you need your OL to have in the trenches and you get a very well rounded prospect who has consistently improved him game, and next level stock. I’m excited to watch him continue to develop his game.
