Still waiting for some Hudl tape of 2028 Herbert Hoover WR Lance Williams Jr Lance Williams Jr 5'10" | 150 lbs | WR/ATH Herbert Hoover | 2028 State WV , but the freshman earned some playing time in year one at the high school level for the state runner-up Huskies. He’s still filling out physically but has clear athletic ability that forced his way onto the field at the varsity level as a freshman. From the limited film we’ve gotten from Williams Jr, he’s light on his feet and plays well in space with YAC playmaking potential. He had a strong showing at the recent PA Elite 7on7 tournament and should take a big step forward on Friday nights as a sophomore.

Without question one of the most advanced route runners I’ve come across in this West Virginia 2028 class. Right now he appears to have average height (no official measurements), but watching him put his foot in the ground and break off a slant or a comeback is a thing of beauty. He comes with the speed and agility to be an instant threat on the outside.
