has the kind of frame college coaches are always looking for at the position. At 6’0 195, Robinson carries his weight well and already looks like a back built to handle volume, with room to keep adding strength. Robinson isn’t reliant on flash, he wins with a sturdy build that helps him stay balanced through contact and finish runs the right way. You can see how that frame supports his consistency, and it’s a big reason Robinson has been able to produce early and draw D1 attention. As Robinson continues to fill out, that body type is only going to make his game even more effective as a well-rounded athlete at the position.

retains his #1 running back ranking after the winter update and another strong season in his junior year. He has a handful of D1 offers heading into his senior year and is likely to add to that list before it begins. Robinson Jr rushed for 1,000 yards and 14 touchdowns this season for the Cougars and has steadily physically developed since his freshman year.

in the process. They’re a much different team with him in the lineup as a D1 prospect with multiple offers already to his name. Robinson Jr is a special talent who’s capable of leading his team to a round one victory over Nitro, a team they went down to the wire with during the regular season. He’ll need a big performance for the Cougars to advance, and we expect him to do just that.

has had a solid start to his junior year. He’s yet to have his true breakout game yet but has been steady against two tough teams who matched up well along the LOS. The D1 prospect will put up some big numbers the rest of the season and has clearly taken the next step in his physical development from his sophomore year.

, who will also be fighting for the top overall spot for the next two years as well. He flashed as an athlete as a freshman but exploded onto the scene as a sophomore at running back for the Cougars, rushing for over 1,300 yards and 18 touchdowns. Robinson Jr already holds offers from Marshall and Eastern Michigan, with a likely future at the P4 level in time. As his body further matures as he gets older, Robinson Jr should catch the eyes of bigger college programs, which may happen as soon as his junior year.

Designated and labeled an ATH by our PRZ West Virginia writers. 6’0, 180 pounds. Currently ranked as the number one two-way athlete among West Virginian sophomores. Is a track and field runner as well as a Basketball player at Capital HS. Posts an awesome 4.5 GPA. Might not be a pure pass-catcher like many on GC Motion, yet if this kid is on the turf, everyone on the defense will have to account for his alignment before each snap.
Ran for 1,300+ yards on the ground, this on just 175 carries. 18 scores to his name, as well as an interception while stationed at safety. Arguably one of the best prospects at this entire event. Doesn’t have any offers to his name which is a bit surprising. Robinson still has plenty of time for recruiting buzz to pick up, being just a sophomore. Excited to speak about his performance after the event ends on Sunday.

built on his freshman success with a huge sophomore season for the Cougars where he rushed for 1,300 yards and 18 touchdowns. He’s added good size and is a very well-rounded athlete who you could plug into a variety of positions. Robinson Jr is a gifted playmaker who seemingly makes a big play any time he touches the ball. He’s a natural ball carrier who may settle in as a RB prospect in the future, but it needs to be known that he’s a versatile athlete who can move around on both sides of the ball.

who had a strong freshman campaign. He’s an extremely versatile athlete who will play many different positions this season in all three phases of the game and should excel in every role. Robinson Jr ranks just outside of our 2027 Top 10 at this point but could one day rank inside the ten best prospects in this class if he keeps improving.
Here’s what we said about Robinson Jr in our 2027 Rankings Debut article:

narrowly missed out on making our 2027 debut Top 10 and could one day make his way inside of it. He had a very productive freshman season for the Cougars which earned him WVSWA Class AAA Honorable Mention All-State honors and Second Team All-MSAC. Robinson Jr is a bit of a Swiss Army Knife at this point who lined up all over the field for Capital last season. Slot receiver or defensive back looks to be his future best positions, but he debuts as the #2 ATH in the class for now. He’s a dynamic playmaker with the ball in his hands and it’s no surprise why his coaches got him the ball in a variety of ways as a freshman.”

His speed, quickness, and playmaking ability give him a high ceiling as a prospect that could one day develop into a D1-level player.

. Robinson Jr is more of an ATH at this point but he’ll start out as a DB on our 2027 Watch List. He’s a very versatile athlete who lined up pretty much everywhere for the Cougars during his freshman season and was very productive for them. Robinson Jr was a Second Team All-MSAC performer and was selected to the WVSWA Honorable Mention All-State team this season. He’s a raw athlete but has natural athleticism and playmaking ability that will allow him to develop into a high-level player over time. He saw reps at both corner and safety this season for the Cougars but safety may be where his ceiling is highest on the defensive side of the ball. I think Robinson Jr will become a weapon on offense too and can play running back or receiver. Whichever position he ends up at, Robinson Jr can excel there.
