Lewis is another D1 recruit who received a scholarship offer from Temple over the weekend. Lewis is a versatile prospect who specializes in being elusive with the ball. He’s gifted at executing cover 3 bail technique and press-man technique coverage. He’s a dominant returner who is also a standout WR. Lewis is very similar to

in terms of being a savvy slot receiver that hurts defenses in the middle of the field. Lewis received his first FBS offer from Brennan Marion at UNLV in the offseason. Keep your eye on Lewis for the rest of 2023. I believe programs such as Pitt, WVU, Marshall, Liberty, among others, should seriously evaluate Kenny.

His tape might not wow in terms of production. Reps at DB however, showcase one of the more physical corners listed on this piece thus far. Physical approach to jamming at the LOS, physical when containing runs, avid hand fighter. Kenny Lewis IV Kenny Lewis IV 5'10" | 180 lbs | ATH Gateway | 2025 State PA is a kid that took quite the tumble down our ranks, largely in part due to things out of his control. Usually, when that happens, the prospect gets back on track in time, that’s exactly what I’m expecting for the Gateway two-way player. Kenny Lewis IV Kenny Lewis IV 5'10" | 180 lbs | ATH Gateway | 2025 State PA spent time inside the top five at his position in years past. The young man should have been placed on Watchlist instead of being dropped out of the Top 150, in hindsight. A climb back into the top 100 is a certainty, especially after seeing him earlier in the year. I hope I can get one last look at him before July comes around, as I’ll be in the area close to Gateway HS at the end of the month.

Kenny Lewis is an impressive athlete with savvy skills. He maintains a controlled tempo in his backpedal and is good at press-man coverage. His low stance helps him avoid overextending when breaking on the football, and he displays man coverage ability with special ball skills both as a wide receiver on offense and defense, contesting passes. He has also shown fluid hips and speed executing the cover 3 bail technique. He‘s a dangerous returner with impressive shiftiness and balance, making him difficult to catch once he turns the corner. When he’s in the slot, he’s savvy and crafty vs re-routers on the seams, making him a significant threat in the middle of the field. He is physical for his size and does a good job of coming up to assist in the run game. Currently, he has an offer from UNLV, but his skill set and explosiveness are only going to improve. I think MAC, AAC and the local programs Pitt, PSU and WVU should get him in front of them this summer.

He’s a smooth athlete who’s very competitive. Lewis has great technique in press-man coverage and shows good ball skills on both offense and defense. He displays sharp footwork with a low pad level when backpedaling. His bail technique in cover 3 resembles that of a college defensive back. Kenny is a reliable tackler in open space and is quick to break on the ball. He exhibits breakaway speed and balance when returning kickoffs. Lewis currently holds an offer from UNLV and is visiting Rutgers this weekend.
