Johann Hennigan Johann Hennigan 6'0" | 200 lbs | TE Imhotep | 2024 State PA made one of the best plays in the game when he caught a pass from Mikal Davis and raced to the end zone for a touchdown. It was a 50-yard touchdown reception. What made the play so impressive eas Hennigan caught the ball and made the play after the catch. You do not see many tight end catch the ball and run after the catch like that.

Things might not be as clear-cut with Johaan Hennigan as they are with

. Hennigan is going to need to fit into a program’s system. I’m a fan of the young man as I’ve seen for my own eyes what he’s capable of. He might not flash desirable measurables, yet the kid is someone you’re going to want to keep an eye on in camps. He’s got a knack for wowing, both in a t-shirt or in pads. When he surprises coaches, I’ll be there to assure that he’s like that. He’s far from a finished product though. Currently unoffered.

Excited to see what Johann Hennigan Johann Hennigan 6'0" | 200 lbs | TE Imhotep | 2024 State PA and Mikal Davis have in store this Fall. Hennigan looks a tad quicker, agile than the last time I saw him. Still serving as one of the state’s more athletic tight ends, Hennigan is out to prove he belongs in the same conversation as the Donnelly and Brodnik’s of the world. Hennigan flashed the same great hands he’s displayed throughout his career at this event. I’m interested in seeing if we see a different Hennigan in 2023.

Johann Hennigan Johann Hennigan 6'0" | 200 lbs | TE Imhotep | 2024 State PA makes the leap from a prospect on watchlist for more than two ranking updates, to top ten tight end in his class. It’s all deserved and on the shoulders of Hennigan himself. He showed out and proved he can be a capable and pivotal piece to a championship puzzle at Imhotep. If you ask him, he’ll tell you he hasn’t even reached the top of his game. I’m inclined to believe him. Hennigan isn’t 6’4, 245 pounds like many of the tight-end prospects above him, yet his athleticism and pass-catching skills are undeniable. I’m sure he hears this all the time, he’s the slightly oversized athletic prospect that surprises you every time you see him work in the open field. He’s got as capable a pair of hands as any prospect in the entire class. He can make kids miss in the open field because of how unassuming his frame might make him seem. Don’t sleep on this kid being an even bigger factor in the Imhotep passing game next Fall.
