Continue ReadingIt took me a while to get on the Raheem Reid Raheem Reid 6’2″ | 220 lbs | LB Imhotep Charter | 2024 State PA hype train, not sure why. I had the opportunity to watch Reid work, now leading the Imhotep linebacking core. Every bit of 6’2, a lean cut 215 pounds, Raheem Reid Raheem Reid 6’2″ | 220 lbs | LB Imhotep Charter | 2024 State PA ‘s name was buzzing among Division One coaches interested in the junior backer. Smooth, focused, and full of burst, Reid worked through bags and indi’s seamlessly. This is yet another thoroughbred to follow in Bridgeman and Beverly’s footsteps. Sure-fire top 100 prospect at the very least.
The exact opposite with Saimire Locks Saimire Locks 6’2″ | 160 lbs | DB Imhotep Charter | 2025 State PA , we’ve had him placed amongst the top prospects in the state since his days at Simon Gratz. This was my first time getting a close look at the DB who will line up opposite Kenny Woseley. His build isn’t too far off of LB Raheem Reid Raheem Reid 6’2″ | 220 lbs | LB Imhotep Charter | 2024 State PA ‘s, which is a huge compliment. Arms that could scratch his knees, Locks is going to wow those not in the know this coming Fall. Losing Rahmir Stewart Rahmir Stewart 6’0″ | 205 lbs | DB Imhotep Charter | 2023 State PA in the secondary hurts, yet combining both Woseley and Locks in the secondary could prove to be a championship-level addition.
Mikael Whitfield has flirted with top DL status, his rank fluctuating up and down each update. This event has his stock up a bit, as he was often over-powering or too quick for the younger OL group he was up against. We all know how loaded the Tep defensive front is, with several prospects vying for position alongside Jahsear Whittington Jahsear Whittington 6’1″ | 280 lbs | DL Imhotep Charter | 2024 State PA and Zahir Mathis Zahir Mathis 6’6″ | 230 lbs | DL Imhotep Charter | 2025 State PA . I hope Mikale has worked enough to earn some trust from the coaching staff. Whitfield also looks a tad bigger, finally filling out his young frame. Excited for his future.

Excited to see what Johann Hennigan Johann Hennigan 6’0″ | 200 lbs | TE Imhotep Charter | 2024 State PA and Mikal Davis have in store this Fall. Hennigan looks a tad quicker, agile than the last time I saw him. Still serving as one of the state’s more athletic tight ends, Hennigan is out to prove he belongs in the same conversation as the Donnelly and Brodnik’s of the world. Hennigan flashed the same great hands he’s displayed throughout his career at this event. I’m interested in seeing if we see a different Hennigan in 2023.
Zaire Pollard
Zaire Pollard
Above are three relatively new names to the site. We saw the connection between Mikal Davis and Hennigan and Wright-Downing last Fall, who is going to step up and account for the offensive production coming through the air? I imagine sophomore WR Isaiah Prater Isaiah Prater 5’10” | 170 lbs | WR Imhotep Charter | 2025 State PA will serve as the Imhotep flanker. He’s received a modest top-25 WR rank out of us, yet this Fall we’ll see what he’s really capable of.
Sy’eerdsc sd Coleman Sy’eerdsc sd Coleman 6’0″ | 200 lbs | RB PA will more than likely be the next horse out of the Imhotep stable. Jabree Coleman will lead, with the Georgia commit relinquishing occasional carries to freshman Sy’eerdsc sd Coleman Sy’eerdsc sd Coleman 6’0″ | 200 lbs | RB PA . Sy’eer has earned offers out of Oregon, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and VA Tech just this month. The pair working, Imhotep might not need to throw much.
Zaire Pollard is another new name I’m adding to my list. A current freshman, I didn’t see much of Pollard at the event in all honesty. That being said, some coaches told me to get him on radar at the very least. The event roster has him listed at 6’2, he could be a red zone target for Davis and the passing attack.
The main reason I came to Hunting Park was to see the young linemen get to work. Was Jesse Moody Jesse Moody 6’6″ | 290 lbs | OL Imhotep Charter | 2026 State PA the real deal? How good is Brian Moore Brian Moore 6’3″ | 265 lbs | OL Imhotep Charter | 2026 State PA ? Is Amir Blackshear Amir Blackshear 6’1″ | 240 lbs | DL Imhotep Charter | 2026 PA worthy of a ranking alongside his peers?
Yes, Jesse Moody Jesse Moody 6’6″ | 290 lbs | OL Imhotep Charter | 2026 State PA is the real deal. His size checks out, there’s no fabricating his 6’6 300+ frame. Movement skills have a way to go but you can find flashes of balance and control. I got a chance to see his attitude, temperament, flexibility, coachability. All things check out, yet all aspects need work. Georgia and PSU are confident this kid will be a sure-fire P5 tackle by the time he’s a senior. I now know why.
Brian Moore Brian Moore 6’3″ | 265 lbs | OL Imhotep Charter | 2026 State PA is in the same boat, just isn’t as freakishly big as Moody. Raw raw raw. A green prospect that has reps under his belt. He’s a bit ahead of Moody in terms of understanding his assignment, locating his assignment on the run, etc. He might not wow with freakish size, doesn’t mean his time won’t come. Let’s hope he builds on a solid freshman campaign.
Amir Blackshear Amir Blackshear 6’1″ | 240 lbs | DL Imhotep Charter | 2026 PA left an impression on me during 1-on-1s. He could carve out a role for himself down the line, especially if he keeps winning reps the way he did at this showcase. He’s lean, more muscle and mass could go a long way moving forward. I’ve had my eye on his for some time. A future ranking will come.

charles belser
charles belser
Here’s a 2026 quarterback prospect with exciting physical tools. 6’2, 210 pounds, Charles Belser has a path to eventually succeed Mikal Davis once he ventures off to the next level. Imhotep will have their fair share of potential suitors, yet Belser was at the event backing up Davis, for what it’s worth. He didn’t necessarily wow in any way, yet consider him on my radar moving forward.
