One of our top 20 prospects, Locks has really nice size andlength as a cornerback and somebody who I thought took a nice step forward as a junior at Imohtep. A very good athlete, Locks often got overlooked due to teammate Kenny Woseley Jr, a top-10 prospect in the class of 2024 within the state. But Locks showed this season that he can play at a ihgh level consistently and do so against good competition as well. Consistent player snap to snap which is always great to see and is a very good athlete. His athleticism profile and his length make him a very intriguing prospect who I think could see an uptick in his recruitment this offseason.

Samire Locks is the other cornerback opposite Kenny Woseley, but he is not to be overlooked. He showed good coverage skills as well on the night as he was able to stay in front of his man and make consistent plays at cornerback.

Game planning to attack the Imhotep defense is daunting, for many reasons. The front four can wreck your game. The front-seven can wreck your game. The secondary can wreck your game. Mathis, Whittington and company are enough to worry about, but when Kenny Woseley, who I’m very close to making the state’s top DB, is as locked in as he was at DB, coupled with Saimire Locks Saimire Locks 6'2" | 160 lbs | DB Imhotep Charter | 2025 State PA working opposite Woseley, any offense attempting to pass is going to be in for a long day. LCA insisted on passing time and time again, they paid the price each time. Woseley and Locks took turns picking off the LCA passer, both DBs would tell you they hardly broke a sweat doing so. The Imhotep secondary was as clean as I’ve seen them look.

All this being said, Whittington and Mathis combined for three sacks in the first half.

The exact opposite with Saimire Locks Saimire Locks 6'2" | 160 lbs | DB Imhotep Charter | 2025 State PA , we’ve had him placed amongst the top prospects in the state since his days at Simon Gratz. This was my first time getting a close look at the DB who will line up opposite Kenny Woseley. His build isn’t too far off of LB Raheem Reid Raheem Reid 6'2" | 220 lbs | LB Imhotep | 2024 State PA ‘s, which is a  huge compliment. Arms that could scratch his knees, Locks is going to wow those not in the know this coming Fall. Losing Rahmir Stewart Rahmir Stewart 6'0" | 205 lbs | DB Imhotep | 2023 State PA in the secondary hurts, yet combining both Woseley and Locks in the secondary could prove to be a championship-level addition.

Locks has great size at 6-foot-1 and 170-pounds while also showing strong fundamental base and ball skills. showed great instincts as a freshman as well. Has a chance to be the top safety in the 2025 class in the state of Pennsylvania. We’ll be looking for him to have a big season and offers should certainly begin to come in for the Simon Gratz product.
