is a dominant DE who’s been having a huge debut year on Hoover’s defense this fall.
“At 6’3 260, White has great size, speed, and physicality in the trenches. White is especially dominant against the run. He does a great job at eating up space and fighting off blocks to get to the ball carrier, consistently coming up with huge stops right at or behind the line of scrimmage.
It’s really impressive watching White in pursuit- he is terrific at tracking and hunting down the ball carrier, working his way from the other side of the field to come up with huge stops. White is also reliable against the pass- he’s excellent at gaining interior pressure and requires a lot of attention from offensive lines because of how disruptive he is.“
White has quietly put together a great resume over the last two seasons. Thompson’s OL will have to slow him down to get their run game going. Keep an eye on White this week, he could be a game wrecker.
Check out some of his film below and you’ll see what I mean:

White was incredibly productive last season, recording 70 total tackles (29 solo, 9 for loss) on the year.
Earlier today, White announced he had picked up another offer- this time from Faulkner University!
I think White has a huge year ahead of him at Hoover- he’s a dominant player in the trenches, check out some of his film below:

White is a high-motor defensive end who thrives on physicality and relentless pursuit of the football. His hand technique is already advanced, allowing him to disengage from blockers with ease. He shows excellent lateral movement, making him effective in chasing down plays from the backside. His ability to anchor against the run and collapse the pocket gives him the potential to be a three-down defender at the next level. With his work ethic and relentless playing style, White is a prospect who could make an immediate impact in college.

is a really intriguing defensive line prospect out of Thompson who’s set for a big year this fall. White has shown the ability to make plays at both defensive tackle and defensive end and does a great job utilizing his size to his advantage against the run. At 6’3 245, White can eat up space, fight off blocks, and completely close gaps when offenses are trying to establish the run. It’s clear on tape that White has some strength and power that allow him to easily push around opposing offensive linemen and impact plays. If he’s not making a tackle, he’s opening up opportunities for his teammates to close in and make plays. Keep an eye on White going into this fall, he’s been behind some top-tier collegiate-level talent over the last few seasons, and this year we could really see him break out on Thompson’s defensive line.
