is a talented EDGE/DE from Hoover who took his game to another level this past year.
“At 6’2 235, Harris has great size and presents a lot of problems for opposing offensive lines as a pass rusher. Harris is quick off the snap, plays with a ton of speed and power, and can quickly make his way into the backfield to generate pressure and hurry the QB.
I’m really impressed with how Harris uses his leverage to beat offensive linemen. He gets low and generates a ton of power to dominate the OL across from him and get into the backfield. Harris also affects the passing game by breaking up passes at the line of scrimmage- he does a great job using his hands to bat down balls and is an overall threat on passing downs that has to be accounted for.“
I, for the life of me, cannot understand why Harris is as slept on as he is. He’s shown up and balled out each year of his career, whether it be at Hoover or Tuscaloosa Academy. I think he’ll have a HUGE senior season this fall. We all need to keep watch.

Harris comes off the edge with a burst that immediately puts tackles in recovery mode. His first step is sudden and explosive, allowing him to gain ground quickly and stress the pocket before blockers can fully set. When he times it right, he’s already in the backfield disrupting the play.
He uses his length well to control engagement, keeping his frame clean and working to stay on his upfield shoulder. There are flashes of real power when he locks in, showing he can convert speed into force and collapse space. Harris’ motor runs hot, and he continues working even when the initial rush doesn’t hit. With that combination of burst, length, and effort, he consistently finds ways to impact the play.

is a disruptive EDGE/DL prospect out of Hoover who caught my eye earlier this offseason.

Last week, Harris announced he picked up his first offer from UT Martin. I really was impressed with what I saw on tape, it’ll be exciting watching his recruitment continue to grow.
Harris has all the tools to have a huge year this fall- make sure you check him out below:

is an up-and-coming DL prospect out of Hoover who has changed positions from EDGE to DE recently and shows a ton of potential for his team’s defense. At 6’2 235, Harris has great size and presents a lot of problems for opposing offensive lines as a pass rusher. Harris is quick off the snap, plays with a ton of speed and power, and can quickly make his way into the backfield to generate pressure and hurry the QB. Harris doesn’t have much film to show just yet- but is absolutely a prospect to keep an eye out for heading into next season. He’s been putting in tons of work this offseason and has the potential to be a key piece of Hoover’s defense this fall- watch out for him!
