About Jalen
Expert Analysis
Ed OBrien | Prep Redzone Scout
Wallace started at cornerback in one of the toughest conferences in the nation. He finished with 25 total tackles, three interceptions, and eight pass deflections as a freshman. Syracuse, Auburn, and Maryland are his early offers. By the time the 2026 season comes around, he should be a double-digit offer-guy.

Jalen got the start at CB for SJC from minute one of their first game of the year against Downingtown West (PA) where I was able to see him play live. He showed he was a player right away in the game. Jalen had a nice PBUs on one of the first drives of the game. He read the route, made a nice break on the ball and got his hands on the pass to knock it down. Jalen has an excellent frame for the position with real nice length. He shows fluid smooth hips and disciplined eyes for a CB. Sees and tracks the ball well, getting his hands up to break up the pass at the right moment. Jalen has shown he has the physicality and mentality for the position. Able to stay in the receiver’s pocket and press at the LOS, as well as come up and make a tackle.
Showing the physical traits and high IQ at the position, Jalen is a natural at the cornerback spot. He currently holds 1 Power 4 offer but that number will climb as the year goes along.

was selected to the UA Next 2025 All-American Game, representing Team Icon.
- Watching his tape, it is no surprise why Wallace was invited to the All- American game, as his skill set makes him a true shut down corner. Wallace is a boundary corner at heart, typically lining up and completely nullifying the opposition X receiver.
- Wallace’s best skill set is how he sees the game, being able to read the QB’s eyes, and anticipate where the throw is going before he even starts his wind up. Combine that with his athletic prowess, and Wallace often finds himself in the action, either knocking the pass down or catching it himself.
