showcased precisely why he’s regarded as New Jersey’s top cornerback and why Penn State eagerly awaits him. The St. Joe’s standout has the full package: size, length, elite movement, and instincts that set him apart. Against Bergen Catholic, Joseph’s instincts shone through with two critical interceptions. One came in the red zone, halting a Bergen scoring drive and keeping his team in the game. While St. Joe’s didn’t secure the win, Joseph’s performance was a reminder of his immense skill and the impact he brings to every game.

Jahmir Joseph is recognized with the superlative for the best cover cornerback. Although his recent performances may not highlight this attribute due to playing out of position, it’s anticipated that with the arrival of a new head coach, Augie Hoffman, Joseph will return to his natural position as an outside corner. His prototypical size, length, turn-and-run ability, and adeptness at tracking the football in the air position him as an elite corner. With room for further growth and the potential to excel in both man and zone coverage, Joseph is expected to showcase his dominance, reaffirming his status as the top cornerback in the 2025 class.

is a cornerback you need to keep your eye on. This man is a true shut down corner that already has senior level size. He breaks on the ball extremely quickly, doing a great job reading the receiver’s movement so he can beat them to the ball. When he meets the receiver there, you can be sure Jahmir is going to fight for the ball.
Jahmir is the type of corner you want a jump ball or fade thrown his direction. He’s either coming down with the ball or swatting it out of the hands of the receiver. Jahmir is a special talent, and I wouldn’t be the least bit surprised if we see him in the College Football Playoffs in the future.
