showed out last spring at the NJ Next event, making his presence felt every snap he was on the field. He has a big, imposing frame for a middle school defensive lineman, and it’s easy to imagine he has added even more size and strength since the last evaluation.
Peterson is quick for his size and explodes off the line of scrimmage, allowing him to gain early leverage against opposing linemen. He uses powerful arms to drive blockers back into the pocket and consistently overwhelms opponents with his raw strength. At this stage, he has the ability to overpower nearly any lineman he lines up against, making him a disruptive force in both the run and pass game. It will be exciting to see Peterson square off against the top linemen at this event and measure his continued development against elite competition.

caught a lot of attention last spring when he performed at a high level at the Middle School combine. It’s really hard not to pay attention when you see Peterson line up on the field. Already standing well over 6 feet and continuously growing, Peterson is a figure that is hard to miss.
Peterson is a future star at the defensive tackle position. He is surprisingly quick off of the line and can make impact with the blocker from a low position to bull rush them into the backfield. Peterson mostly uses brute force and his size advantage to overcome blockers, so I am excited to see him continue to develop and see his foot work and hand technique become even crisper.

One of several Asbury Park prospects that stood out throughout the day, he was the largest of the group—right around 6-foot and I’m estimating in the 230-pound range. Etienne did a good job on both sides of the ball and looked versatile enough to play both Guard and/or Tackle on the Offensive Line. Defensively he looks like a great option as a strong interior Defensive Tackle, with somewhat surprising quickness.
