. Mitchell competed with Defcon on their 15U squad, and by far was one of the most talented QB’s I saw throughout the weekend. Standing at 5’11” 170-Pounds, Mitchell displays an outstanding build for a QB, and showed it at Pylon.
Mitchell and his squad took the trophy home with them, and became Pylon NJ champions, and the Bergen County Signal Caller, displayed unreal anticipation, along with amazing accuracy, and art strength. For his age, I was extremely impressed with his mechanics as well as they were light years ahead of the average 2030 Signal Caller.

Mitchell was selected as the QB MVP of the Who’s Next camp-and deservedly so. He’s got a super solid build for being class of 2030, with a thick lower body. He had some of the best placed throws of the day, one of which was a gorgeous back shoulder throw in one-on-ones. He had the biggest arm of the day, and also clocked the fastest L Drill of any of the attending athletes. And, watching him, he could be a really successful high school football player at an abundance of positions, he’s that good of an athlete. Right now he’s a do-it-all type quarterback that’s gonna make a high school coach very happy in the future. I concur with the coaches that selected him as MVP, I think he was the best quarterback at the event.

For the bulk of the previous two years, I’ve considered the Carteret, New Jersey native to be one of the more elite athletes in the Tri-state area. This past Saturday at the New Jersey Prep Redzone Next Middle School Exposure Camp he was able to show off the significant progress he has made as a Quarterback. After leading The Sho Hurricanes to deep runs to consecutive deep runs at AYF Nationals, he proved he’s ready for the challenge of the next level.
