At 5’9”, 160 pounds, Theresa displayed a balanced blend of patience, burst, and physicality, showing that he can read blocks and hit the hole decisively.

Even in a game where RV struggled to find rhythm, Hakim’s energy stood out. His quick acceleration and ability to gain yards after contact gave the offense a late boost. He capped off his night with a touchdown in the closing minutes, a reward for his effort and discipline running behind his blockers.

Only in the class of 2028, Theresa’s flashes of explosiveness suggest that he has the tools to become a key piece of RV’s offense in the coming years. With more experience and reps, he could evolve into one of South Jersey’s most exciting young backs.

Gone with a bang is Kenny Smith Kenny Smith 5'11" | 175 lbs | RB Glassboro | 2025 State NJ and in his his heir apparent Hakim Theresa Jr. Hakim Theresa Jr. 5'9" | 160 lbs | RB Glassboro | 2028 State NJ Theresa did get a taste of varsity last year, but showed that he has a clear and distinct second-speed that he hits that allows him to outrun an entire defense. In the little bit of film he does have, Theresa is awfully impressive. Aside from his speed being showcased, he is used as much between the tackles as he is along the perimeter. Like a human joystick, Theresa weaves and makes cuts in and out of trouble to free up his killer speed. Although he has not yet shown to make people miss in space, he has a strong sense of how to make a nifty cut to badly throw off a pursuers angle. The weight room will help him not get taken down by average tackles and it would be to his benefit to showcase his skillset as a pass-catching and in pass protection.

A dynamic running back that dazzles with quickness, vision and next-level cutting ability. Does a phenomenal job of finding/creating running lanes by the way he wiggles his way to, and through, the line of scrimmage. Would not hesitate to put him out in the slot for even half a second because he can catch too. Only hang up right now is size, though he has seemingly tacked on a few inches since we last him, in May.

In every highlight I’ve watched of Hakim Theresa Jr. Hakim Theresa Jr. 5'9" | 160 lbs | RB Glassboro | 2028 State NJ he’s shown me just that. Whether it’s taking it to the house or picking the ball off this prospect makes plays all over the field. His ability to make defenders miss and find holes and use his speed to have a big run impressed me a lot when watching his film. Another prospect that can be a threat on both sides of the ball at the next level.
