had to sit out four games. The result led to a 141 carry, 1809 yard, 23 touchdown senior season and a Group I state championship. Moreover, Smith capped his career not only with a state title, but the game of a lifetime.
Single-handedly ensuring that his team would not be denied, Smith ran for 402 yards and 4 scores on 20 carries. Of these runs, Smith had a 60-yard score and two, 80-yard scores – one of which was the first play from scrimmage in the second half.

unforgettably ended his high school career. In the Group 1 championship game against Cedar Grove, Smith ran 20 times for an incredible 402 yards and four touchdowns. His dominant performance helped Glassboro secure its first state title in program history. Known as one of the most decorated running backs in New Jersey, Smith displayed his entire skill set—grinding out tough yards with physicality and contact balance while remaining a constant home-run threat. A model of consistency throughout his career, Smith will be taking his talents to Pitt in January.

rose to the occasion for Glassboro with a division title on the line, solidifying his reputation as one of South Jersey’s top backs. Though he faced challenges with ball security, recording three fumbles, he still made a massive impact as a runner and receiver.
Smith scored 159 rushing yards on 15 attempts, highlighted by an explosive 71-yard touchdown run that showcased his breakaway speed. His versatility extended into the passing game, where he turned a screen pass into a 45-yard touchdown, ultimately sealing the victory for Glassboro and securing the division title.
The Pitt commit proved he can be a dual-threat asset, excelling on the ground and as a pass-catcher. Still, with high stakes, ball security remains an area for improvement.

recently moved from Hammonton to Glassboro. He has been one of the most consistent backs in New Jersey. Over the past two seasons, Kenny rushed for over a thousand yards each year. Now, he’s joining a new team loaded with talent. This should allow him to be more dynamic. Kenny is a complete back. He has the speed to take it the distance and the strength to break tackles. Standing at 5’11” and weighing 175 pounds, he also shows impressive elusiveness. Kenny holds offers from Pitt, Leigh, Yale, and other schools. This season, he should excel at a higher level than before. I expect Kenny to have his best season yet.

Hammonton might be home to one of Jersey’s most dynamic offensive pieces, who happens to also be a relatively well kept secret, in tailback

. Last fall Smith rushed for 254/1473/16, caught 13/156/1, and was credited with 6 (3) tackles and 1 Int on defense. Smith shows patience as a runner, refusing to blow past his pulling linemen in pin & pull scheme plays; however, I am not sure if what I am describing as patience is just that, or is it confidence. Unlike many other prospects, Smith has both a second and third gear to his game that he shifts to when in the open field. When running more zone-based plays Smith’s shifty hips meet his vision, allowing him to work against the grain by cutting off the rear-ends of his linemen climbing to the second level. He has also shown the ability to totally cut back behind the line of scrimmage, although I do not think he prefers to do that. Lastly, he will use the stiff arm when running laterally and win the edge. Without the ball in his hands on offense, we see Smith be the epitome of a team player by forcibly asserting himself as a lead blocker for his teammates. From his safety position Smith does two things exceptionally well: fly and explode. He aggressively fills the ally and can bait a quarterback into a bad throw, relying on his tremendous jump to break and make a play on the ball. Offensively I would encourage Smith to be mindful of switching the ball to his outside arm and emphasizing the 5 points of pressure when toting the rock; whereas defensively he can stand to improve his tackling leverage. By doing so, he will force ball carriers back to the inside where his help is pursuing from.

has been the whole package for Hammonton. With 1158 rushing yards and 11 touchdowns on the season, Kenny has the rare combination of speed and strength that is hard to stop. Kenny has the ability to accelerate quickly and get to the second level before defenders even notice. A player that runs low and can take on a hit, Kenny is also elusive enough to shake off would-be tacklers and continue on. Kenny will be on everyone’s radar come 2024.
