to that list. A very raw prospect as a sophomore, Davis shows flashes of brilliance in abundance. As a standup edge player, he takes very good strides that attack and force the issue with each step. Against smaller defenders, we see Davis use his length to create separation and be disruptive; he also uses that length to match the quarterbacks hands. He does tackle a bit too high and tends to arm tackle, as well as when taking on trappers. Improved coaching will go a long way for improving his skillset and having a productive and long football career.

once again delivered when the lights were brightest, helping propel Glassboro to another state championship. Throughout the playoff run, he made his most significant mark as an edge rusher, using his size, length, and explosiveness to consistently disrupt the backfield.
However, his value doesn’t stop on defense. Davis also contributes as a wide receiver, giving Glassboro a legitimate playmaker in the passing game. That two-way impact separates him from most prospects in the state and forces opponents to account for him on every snap.
Despite back-to-back state titles, Davis has flown somewhat under the radar. That’s about to change. With his proven ability to impact games on both sides of the ball, he enters the offseason positioned for a significant recruiting jump. Expect Davis to emerge as one of New Jersey’s top two-way prospects as his stock continues to rise.

has the tools to make a serious statement this postseason. Standing 6’4” and 205 pounds, Davis looks the part of a true edge rusher — long, physical, and steadily filling out his frame. His first-step quickness jumps out, and when he times the snap right, he can instantly collapse the edge. While his change of direction can improve, the foundation for a disruptive pass rusher is already there.
Against Salem, Davis flashed what makes him intriguing — consistent pressure, backfield penetration, and the ability to throw off the rhythm of both the run and the passing game. He doesn’t yet hold an offer, but that could change soon.
Glassboro has built a reputation for developing physical defensive talent, and Davis looks like the next name in that line. With his size, athleticism, and upside, this playoff stretch could be where he breaks out and puts himself firmly on the recruiting radar.

, Glassboro has an embarrassment of riches lining up on defense. A standup edge, Davis takes extremely good strides, attacking the offensive line with each and ever step. When engaged with lineman we see him extend and lock out to create space to operate, while also showing flshes of the wrong arm. Matching the hand when he does not to the quarterback causes Davis to interrupt many passes too. Moreover, his pad level gets high at times and he can stand to play lower. Additionally, he seems hesitant and waits at moments – where as I, personally, love seeing him perpetually in attack mode.

is pure upside. The 6’4”, 215-pound sophomore from Glassboro is one of New Jersey’s most intriguing young athletes. He dominates with raw athleticism, whether flying off the edge or boxing out defenders as a wideout. His frame screams defensive end, but his ball skills and catch radius make him a real two-way threat. Still developing the finer points, but the tools are already drawing attention—Syracuse offered in January. With a loaded Glassboro roster, Davis could help power both sides of the ball and emerge as a breakout name in South Jersey.

, but it’s safe to say he’s a star in the making. Part of one of the most talented underclassmen rosters in the state, Glassboro has another weapon in their arsenal. Standing at 6’4″ as a freshman, Maurice overshadows upperclassmen and will be hard to stop as he continues to add muscle to his frame. A WR/TE and DE, Maurice is already getting noticed from collegiate programs as he stands out amongst others in his class. This is a name you need to get familiar with ASAP.

At 6-foot-4 and 170 pounds, when Davis puts it all together, he’s going to be one heck of a football and basketball player. A 2027 PRZ Next National Watchlist athlete out of New Jersey, his length is second to none and he was clocked at a 4.91 in the forty. This kid is only going to get bigger and better. Buy stock now.

could be just a a year away from becoming one of New Jersey’s most sought-after recruits. The younger brother of former two-time National Champion at Alabama and current five-year NFL vet, Anthony Averett
– Davis is listed at 6-foot-4 and 165 pounds (unverified) right now. While I don’t know if he’s that tall, he’s certainly at least 6-foot-2 with length and a frame that should have recruiting coordinators drooling at the next level
– Having played wide receiver, tight end and defensive end over his pre-high school ball, he’s off to Glassboro High School next year. While his build will certainly dictate things, I see the two-sport standout (basketball) moving inside a bit and really focusing on the tight end position
