I think a lot of people could be surprised by what Griffin can do. He has thrown for over 1,100 yards this season and has no problem spreading the wealth to a variety of receivers. Griffin has shown a ton of growth over this season, and has done a great job of leading this Hudsonville team all the way to the biggest game possible! If Griffin can lead this Hudsonville squad on Saturday night in prime time to a win in the state title game, it would be an incredible accomplishment and could make him the MVP of the weekend! I can’t wait to watch him work this weekend.

Griffin played out of his mind against Howell. I haven’t followed his whole career, but I’d say this was Griffin’s best game of his entire career.
He ran the offense to perfection. Passing the ball, Griffin got the ball out quickly when he could. As long as the pocket was clean, Griffin stood strong, scanned the field, and ripped the ball to his receivers. He completed a lot of quick screens, slants, other routes over the middle of the field. Griffin was also excellent when the play broke down, and on 3rd down. There were several instances where Griffin was forced to leave the pocket, where he’d usually either find a receiver on the run or rush the ball himself. When running the ball, Griffin was extremely slippery against a Howell defense that just couldn’t tackle.
I don’t see any offers listed on his Twitter. At the very least, Griffin deserves D3 offers.

I have admittedly overlooked Griffin for far too long. Griffin didn’t throw as much as the opposition, but when he did throw, he was very efficient.
There was a play on the first drive where Griffin threw a very well-placed 20-yard fade. The pass was broken up by EK, but still, a near-perfect ball from Griffin. At other points, Griffin did a great job of delivering accurate throws with solid mechanics and accuracy. It’s also notable that Griffin had several carries in the second half, and he ran the ball with solid vision and power.
If Griffin wants to play college ball, I think he’s got a great chance to develop and play at the D3 level.
