Man- Cooper (G) played an excellent game.
I watched him for one late-game drive, and he didn’t miss a block. In fact, he dominated. There was one pull in particular that blew me away. Cooper got out of his stance and pulled over to his gap faster than I’ve seen from anyone this season.
Throughout the game, Cooper earned several pancakes. Everything from his footwork to power are pretty impressive. If only he was a little taller, he’d be a GLIAC prospect no problem.
I hope to see Cooper again at Ford Field!

Cooper is someone who I could easily see having a breakout Senior season. The biggest aspect pointing to a potential breakout season is Cooper’s offseason. Over the past several months, Cooper has attended a gauntlet of camps and has undoubtedly been coached up during these camps. Although the camps have only resulted in two offers, Cooper could earn several more after a great 2024 season. Watching his 2023 tape, Cooper is a very physical lineman who excels in using his leverage to pancake opposing linemen. I’d like to see more versatility in his tape, but for now, he’s a solid high school lineman. With a great Senior season, the whole MIAA will be after Cooper, and I wouldn’t be shocked if he earned GLIAC offers IF he has a phenomenal season.
