About Gavin

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

EDGE: Athletic, low and explosive off the ball. I play fast and physical, with high effort on every snap and mindset built for competing. OL/Center: New Position this year. Junior offensive lineman with starting varsity experience at center. Strong football IQ, dependable snap consistency, and proven ability to anchor the line against top competition.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Coachable athlete with quiet confidence. Brings energy, focus and discipline to every rep. A driven competitor who leads by example on and off of the field.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I've developed strong leadership and teamwork skills through both athletics and community service. Volunteering at the Rosenbaum House taught me the value of giving back and connecting with others. I'v also worked with local youth basketball organization which helped improved my communication and patience. On the field, I take time to mentor the incoming freshman which has made me for team focused

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Yes, especially learning to balance academics, athletics and community involvement. I've had to step out of my comfort zone as a quieter person to lead by example and speak up with others need guidance.

What type of college are you looking for?

Looking for a school that challenges me both academically and athletically. I want to be part of a football program with a strong team culture, great coaching and a competitive mindset. I'm also looking for a campus environment where I can grow as a student, athlete and person.

We’re becoming very familiar with 2027 University EDGE Gavin Stone Gavin Stone Gavin Stone 6'0" | 200 lbs | EDGE/OL/OL University | 2027 WV ‘s game after getting eyes on him in person twice in the last two weeks. Stone competed at our recent Combine Series and did some good things at the Spring Showcase as well. He has upside as a pass rusher and has developed some quality moves as a young player entering his junior season. Stone is quick with good bend to dip under offensive lineman or redirect his path mid-rush. Once he adds some more size and strength, he’ll have the tools to earn some college attention by his senior year.
