Ezra is the CO-MVP of defensive linemen. Batjargal was 16th for Pro Shuttle during the event, and 4th overall in his class. He was also 23rd in the event in broad jumping. One thing I always preach are measureables aren’t everything. Batjargal proved that point by dominating during the individual drills and 1 on 1 matchups. He has very good initial quickness and very good get off speed. Showed his very good block shedding ability. Batjargal has a very good bend around the edge paired with a very good bull rush, swim move, and spin move. Batjargal has very good mental processing as well. One thing about Ezra is he has very good coachability. He listens to his coaches and implements their wisdom. He really impressed Coach Tim Deater (Liam Deater’s dad) and made a big impression during the event to me as well. Great edge rusher who would contribute on any FCS to FBS team.

Fresh off a 2A championship season, Batjargal arrived in peak condition and delivered one of the strongest performances of the event. He consistently won his reps using a combination of staying low, powerful hand usage, and an explosive first step. In one on ones, Batjargal showed the ability to get on top of his matchup quickly and control the engagement from the start. His versatility stood out, as he used multiple pass rush moves to keep opponents guessing. His get off and strength created immediate problems, making him one of the first players to separate himself. Still uncommitted, Batjargal is a prospect college scouts should know as we move forward.

Few players have been as dominant on the defensive line this season as Batjargal. With 20 total tackles, 9 tackles for loss and 4 sacks, he’s a constant threat to opposing offenses. His explosiveness off the snap and ability to shed blockers make him one of the most disruptive interior defenders in 2A. Adding 3 fumble recoveries to his resume shows his relentless pursuit of the football and ability to capitalize on chaos. Batjargal plays with intensity and control, using his hands effectively to create leverage and win matchups. His production and consistency have made him a must know name of this defense and his stock continues to rise each week.

Another Wellington productive that made my list. Batjargal had a productive season for Wellington. Measuring in at 6’2 225 pounds, he had 42 total tackles (22 solo, 20 assisted), 6 TFL, 2 sacks, 22 QB pressures, 1 FF, and 1 FR. Batjargal has good athletic ability due to very good acceleration, good speed, and lateral agility. He starts with a low pad level and uses his good initial quickness to engage the offensive line. Good strength. Very good hand strength, and good hand placement. He is a good run stopper as well, using his good get off speed to achieve very good block shedding. Batjargal has a nose for the QB, and uses his powerful bull rush to knock the OL off of their anchor. I’m excited to see more from him going into his senior year !

Batjargal measures in at 6’2 225-pounds. He had 42 total tackles (22 solo, 20 assisted), 6 TFL, 2 sacks, 22 QB pressures, 1 FF, 1 FR. He has good athletic ability due to good acceleration and good speed. Good strength. Very good competitive toughness. He doesn’t give up on blocks, and if he gets beat, he keeps trying till the play is over. Fights through double blocks to make the play. Batjargal has good initial quickness out of his stance. Good hand strength to move OL around. Uses his hands to swat OL’s arms away. Batjargal’s reactionary speed impressed me with him able to disengage blocking and attack the run. Keep an eye out for Batjargal.

Batjargal proved to be a disruptive force for Wellington in the second round of the playoffs. With four solo tackles, three assisted tackles, and two tackles for loss, he wreaked havoc on the opposing offense. Batjargal’s quick first step and relentless motor allowed him to consistently penetrate the backfield, causing chaos at the line of scrimmage. As a key player on Wellington’s dominant defensive line, he has shown tremendous growth throughout the season. His performance has made him a stock watch player, with the potential to have an even greater impact in the next round.

Batjargal is a two-way player that has some quickness on both sides of the ball. On defense he is able to use his quick first step to create chaos early and then use his strength to make a play in the backfield. He can get pressure on the QB and bring him down when he gets hands on. When he gets going he is a player that demands attention and who the offense has to send multiple guys at. He is an under the radar guy that you need to know moving forward.
