Long is a dual specialist playing both kicker and punter. He has good kick power and very good kick accuracy. As a kick off specialist, he had 50 kickoffs for 2698 yards and 19 touchbacks. Averaged 54.0 yards. Good field goal percentage with 60% on 4/7. 40 yards was his longest. The PAT is where Long really showed up going 36/40 with a 90% rate. It doesn’t just stop there. He had 23 punts for 905 yards. After a productive offseason, I’m excited to see how Long does going into his last year at Wellington. They have a nice squad up there, and Long is a reason why.

Long is a versatile specialist who handled nearly every special teams duty for his squad. He recorded 19 touchbacks on 50 kickoffs, punted 23 times for 905 yards, and went 36 for 40 (90%) on PATs. His all around skill set makes him one of the more complete special teams prospects in the state. With more offseason refinement in both punting and field goal accuracy, Long could position himself as one of the premier dual role specialists in the 2026 class.

The 5’9 142-pound K/P had a nice junior season. His legs were used a lot as the kick off specialist, punter, and field goal kicker. Long had 50 kick offs for 2698 yards and 19 touchbacks. Average of 54.0 yards per kick off. As a punter, 23 punts for 905 yards with a 39.3 yards per punt. Long shined at the PAT. He went 36/40 spouting a 90% rate. His field goal percent was 60% going 4/7 with his longest being 40 yards. I’m interested to see how Long does in his senior year. He has a nice touch on the ball when he kicks it, and has shown to be accurate from shorter distances.
