Meglen has been a consistent performer at our showcases for a while now, and today was no different. He won MVP with Antonio Taylor Antonio Taylor 5'10" | 160 lbs | ATH/DB Vista Ridge | 2027 State CO and showed out. He was 4^th in 40 yard dash time, 25^th L-Drill, 13^th broad ump, and 22^nd pro shuttle. Meglen shined during the individual practices and 1 on 1 drills. He used his quick feet to maintain a very good release and separation quickness. Quick fluid cuts to make defenders miss. Consistently made catches, and showed his very good

Meglen once again proved why he is one of the most consistent performers in the state. He posted strong testing numbers and carried that same level of performance into drill work and one on ones. Meglen created separation with ease using his speed and ability to stack defenders vertically. His hands are reliable and he consistently finishes catches outside his frame, showing an impressive catch radius. He displays strong body control and confidence attacking the football. Meglen continues to establish himself as a premier receiving prospect and should be firmly on the radar of college scouts early in the recruiting process.

Meglen set the tone early in Wellington’s championship victory, igniting the sideline with an explosive 69 yard touchdown run in the first quarter. His burst through the second level and acceleration in open space showcased elite playmaking ability and forced the defense to account for him on every snap. Throughout the game, Meglen consistently made the first defender miss, turning routine carries into chunk gains that kept the offense ahead of the sticks and the pressure on the opposing defense. His second quarter touchdown run displayed the other side of his skillset, lowering his pads, driving through contact, and powering his way into the end zone. Despite taking a significant hit that left him visibly shaken, Meglen battled through it and continued to provide a spark each time he stepped on the field. His toughness, vision and big play capability made him one of the most impactful players in the title game. Meglen delivered in the first half and solidifying himself as one of Wellington’s cornerstone playmakers.

The MVP of the wide receivers and he is only a freshman! He has very good athletic ability due to his very good change of direction, acceleration, speed and jumping. Throughout the drills he was making eye popping catches. Using his very good catching to pluck the ball out of the air, a lot of the times right in front of the defensive backs. Very good ball tracking skills and concentration as well. He used his good release at the line of scrimmage to combat the press jam and off coverage. This kid has a bright future ahead of him!

Meglen’s standout showing earned him WR MVP honors, solidifying his reputation as a rising star. With an impressive catch radius and tremendous hands, Meglen routinely made difficult receptions look effortless.
