Haines is a premier tackle for Broomfield and has showed out throughout his high school career. The 3-star tackle measures in at 6’7 305-pounds and is a captain too. Haines has elite strength and controls his opponents easily. Very good initial quickness out of his stance and very good hand speed. He’s explosive off the snap. Very good foot quickness. Elite hand strength and hand placement. He uses this to control and steer the defender creating lanes for his running back, or more time in the pocket for his QB. Very good knee bend and flexibility. Very good body control. Very good anchor. Stops the bull rush in his tracks, and neutralizes it with ease. He’s a powerful run blocker as well. Haines is legit, and his play demands more love than what he is currently getting from the college sphere. He’s a P4 tackle in my opinion.

Standing at 6’7, Haines is an imposing presence up front who moves exceptionally well for his size. He has the speed to pull to the outside or be able to anchor down in pass protection, Haines brings a physicality that makes him a reliable trench warrior. He keeps a clean pocket for his quarterback and creates daylight in the run game with his ability to plow through defenders. Haines has generated interest from programs like Fresno State and Northern Colorado, but his measurables and technique suggest more suitors will follow. With another strong season, expect him to rise on recruiting boards and become one of the most sought after uncommited linemen in Colorado.

Haines is a highly athletic tackle who moves well for his size, excelling at sealing the edge against quick defenders and opening up running lanes. His strength allows him to overpower opponents, driving them to the ground with authority. He consistently wins in one on one matchups, using excellent footwork and hand placement to control his assignments. In pass protection, he maintains a strong base and quick kick slide, making him nearly impenetrable against pass rushers. Haines is a high ceiling prospect whose combination of agility, power, and technique is making him a sought after lineman. A standout from SixZero Academy, he has already begun generating buzz in recruiting. As he continues to turn heads, expect him to emerge as one of the most dominant linemen in his class.

Haines is an impressive offensive lineman. In my opinion, he’s one of the top tackles in Colorado. Through the midseason mark, Haines hasn’t allowed a sack, and has over 50 pancakes. He measures in at 6’7 315 pounds, which is a fantastic size for a tackle. He has very good strength. He has a good initial quickness out of his stance, going into a low pad level to out leverage the defensive lineman. Even if the defender gets lower, he still wins. Haines uses his elite hand strength and placement to control and steer the DL around. He has a very good anchor, driving his legs into the ground not budging against a bull rush. In the pass game, he mimics the footwork of the edge rusher, coping their every move. He has good athletic ability to block out in space, and excels at pull blocking. Haines is consistently winning each 1 on 1 put in front him. He doesn’t have any offers yet, but with the way he’s playing, he’ll be flooded with them in no time.

Haines is a player that will be looking to have a breakout season and be a player to know moving forward. He showed some raw talent last season and has been able to put it together this summer. He has a lot of strength and is able to stifle defenders with his strong first punch. He has a knack for putting defenders on their back and playing through the whistle. He does not give up much ground in the passing game and keeps a clean pocket. This team is loaded with talent and he will be a player to be familiar with on the O-Line.

. Haines was the biggest prospect there, measuring 6’7 323 pounds. Great size for an offensive tackle, and he’s only a sophomore! His combine stats are as follows: 5.87 40-yard dash, 5.47 shuttle, 7’0 broad jump, 8.74 L-drill. Haines is a mauler, and has the strength to consistently overpower opponents. He demonstrated a low pad level, which at 6’7 is harder to do. Good shifty footwork too. Good hand placement to control and steer his opponent. Haines is an exciting prospect who I am intrigued to see develop these next few seasons.
