Paul has very good get off speed with good block shedding. If he doesn’t manage to break free from the OL, he’ll put his arms up to create a pass deflection. Good bull rush and tackling. Paul has good pursuit too. Very good competitive toughness not stopping till the play is finished. Look for him to have a breakout season.

Paul has quickly become one of Broomfield’s most intriguing young defenders. After dominating at the JV level, he’s now earning varsity reps and making them count. Paul has shown the ability to set the edge, disrupt the backfield and even come up with an interception, a testament to his awareness and versatility. His blend of size, quickness and play recognition makes him an asset against both the run and the pass. As Broomfield pushes deeper into the playoffs, Paul’s confidence continues to grow each week. Paul is a young, up and coming tight end from Broomfield. He has good athletic ability due to good jumping, acceleration, speed, and change of direction. During the drills with LBs, Paul showed his good release at the line of scrimmage. He showed good separation quickness due to his play strength. He was consistently fighting off the scrappy linebackers. Very good competitive toughness. If he lost a rep, he came back and won the next. Paul made one of the showcase’s standout plays with a spectacular diving catch during one-on-ones. His ability to track the ball in the air and adjust his body to make tough catches highlighted his athleticism. Paul also showed excellent awareness in stacking defensive backs and giving his quarterbacks a clear throwing lane. His smooth route-running ability and natural feel for finding openings in coverage set him apart. With a wide catch radius and soft hands, Paul consistently delivered in critical moments. His potential as a young receiver positions him as a player to watch closely.

Paul was the 2^nd tight end who showed up at the combine. The freshman measured in at 6’0 185-pounds. Paul has good athletic ability due to good speed, acceleration, and jumping. He showed out in the drills, showing his reliable hands. Good catching skills. The freshman has good release against both off coverage and press jam. He used his athletic ability to create separation between himself and the DB. Paul also used his good mental processing to identify an open area for his quarterback. It was a good outing for Cody, and I’m excited to see how he develops over the course of his high school career.
