Couch measures in at 5’11 175-pounds. The safety for Broomfield had 23 total tackles (17 solo, 6 assisted), 1 TFL, with 4 PD. Couch has good athletic ability due to very good acceleration, change of direction, good speed, and jumping. Good read and reaction speed to diagnose run plays and assist. Good back pedal with a fluid torso. Couch has a knack for creating incompletions out in coverage. Uses his closing quickness and arm length to time up pass break ups. Very good tackling. Uses his strength to stop the ball carrier not allowing extra yards on the play. Keep an eye on Couch to thrive with more opportunities!

Couch demonstrated strong instincts and versatility in the secondary, particularly excelling in situations that required awareness and quick decision making. Naturally a safety, he showed excellent eye discipline during 3v2, reading the quarterback and anticipating routes as they developed. Couch also displayed fluid hips and the speed necessary to turn and run with receivers downfield, allowing him to stay in position against vertical threats. His highlight moment came on a deep ball, where he tracked it and was able to go up and high point the football and coming down with an interception. That play showed his ball hawking skills and timing, reinforcing his ability to be a playmaker on the back end of the defense.
