Trench Warfare: DL Who Dominated at the Stock Up Showcase
Ranked No. 5, DiOrio has been garnering more attention with his momentum through a strong offseason filled with impressive camp performances and increasing Division I interest. He is an explosive defensive lineman with a quick first step that allows him to disrupt plays before they develop. His strength at the point of attack makes him an effective run defender, while his ability to collapse the pocket gives him consistent pass rushing value off the edge. DiOrio’s versatility and relentless motor make him one of the most intriguing young defensive prospects in Colorado, and he appears poised for a breakout season as his recruitment continues to gain traction.
DiOrio is another young Broomfield player looking to have an extended role going forward. Measures in at 6’1 225-pounds. Great size as a 2029. He has good athletic ability due to good lateral quickness, acceleration, balance, change of direction, and speed. Good initial quickness with good hand speed. DiOrio exhibits very good hand placement and hand strength. Good strength. He’ll rip through blocks and attack the QB. Smooth swim moves and a nasty bull rush. Good block shedding and get off. DiOrio plays with a chip on his shoulder and is a stout tackler. I’m looking forward to seeing how he continues his development moving forward.
DiOrio is another young buck learning at the Six Zero Academy. He measures in at 6’1 210-pounds. He has good athletic ability due to good lateral quickness, change of direction, acceleration, and balance. He has good initial quickness out of his stance, with good hand speed. Good hand placement and hand strength. DiOrio excels with a swim move and bull rush on film. Good get off and block shedding. He’s a strong tackler as well, not letting the ball carrier from his grasp. DiOrio is a raw prospect, and I’m excited to see him reach his potential.

DiOrio has a powerful bull rush and a good swim move. Very good get off speed and block shedding. Very good tackling. Jacob did well during the individual drills and testing, however he did great during the coaching aspect. DiOrio was attentive and very coachable, implementing what was taught. He has good change of direction, and good balance. During the individual drills, he showed good initial quickness out of his stance. Good hand placement and hand strength. Good bull rush to knock the OL off their feet. His competitive toughness showed out to me. If he did something wrong, or got beat on a rep, he came back the next with some extra fire and tenacity. Making sure he won it. Great job by the young lineman.
