Eddie was another 2026 South Dakota prospect that saw small, yet elite movement in our 2026 rankings as another TE prospect that was another easy eval for the FCS Back to Back champs in Brookings. Eddie shows off a massive catch radius and has the excellent hands to operate in very tight windows and I said earlier this season, the growth this young man has made with his suddenness getting yards after the catch operates with the athleticism more like a wide receiver than a tight end in my eyes. I have also been quite impressed with the reps on tape from Eddie as a edge rusher as that suddenness I mentioned shows off clear as day watching him move laterally getting into the backfield as he has a fiery firsty step which if I were a Division I recruiter, I would look at heavily as a prospect that has excellent position flexiblity at the next level. Even though it’s early to call as a 2026 tight end, I think Eddie could be the highest graded TE the Dakotas has had since we launched in 2020, and one I certainly would love to see get some FBS offers here coming soon as that size, hands, and athleticism is hard as heck to find in the Midwest. Eddie is one I would offer ASAP, no doubt.

comes into our top five at #4 overall. Edward is the most sizable TE (6’6 220) I have found in either of the Dakotas since we launched in 2020, and to my understanding is the highest ranked debut at TE in since our time started in the Dakotas. Edward shows off a well-versed release when he takes off into the open field, as he runs with deer like instincts that you commonly see out of your receiving core. His long strides show off outstanding athleticism and it is clear that Edward shows off superb field vision as well. His tape is extremely versatile too showing off later what he can do as a blocker in which he impresses me with his run-blocking ability. No question at all that Edward is a Division I target in the making, as he already has a handful of Division I coaches following him on Twitter. You can bet that Edward will be an early offer kid for sure.
