Probably the most intriguing South Dakota 2027 stockrisers at the Augustana prospect camp in my eyes, came from Sioux Falls Jefferson defensive Habonimana Fidel Habonimana Fidel 6'1" | 175 lbs | DB Sioux Falls Jefferson | 2027 State SD who also was one of my first prospects from the Mount Rushmore State that passed the eye test quickly. He ran an eye-catching 4.55 40 yard at around the size listed in his PRZ profile and what was even more impressive was his live reps. Habonimana was relentless in his 1v1 reps on Sunday, as his on-ball physicality drove a handful of wide receivers off the edges as he also showed off well-versed ball-tracking ability in the reps I watched as the range he has at his disposal was evident in his reps. He’ll surely be one due to his camp performance that will easily move into our top 100 overall in South Dakota as he’ll move up a ways.

One of the most sizable corners that you will be able to see tomorrow at our Prep Redzone Dakotas Showcase, is another Sioux Falls Jefferson Caviliers cornerback which is 2027 Habonimana Fidel Habonimana Fidel 6'1" | 175 lbs | DB Sioux Falls Jefferson | 2027 State SD . This young man has what appears to show overwhelming length with his ball-tracking ability that trends well on tape especially on deep routes. Habonimana also has the quick twitch you want to see on short routes to tread downhill to the football as one that releases a boom when you watch his tackling ability a few times on tape. I’ll be intrigued to see how much his length could overwhelm wide receivers tomorrow, as Habonimana might have some of the more eye-catching JV tape I have seen in South Dakota at his position.
