Dax is a 2028 linebacker that is our LB2 in the 2028 class in South Dakota and now with the floodgates now open for 2028 targets, he is one that surely should get plenty more attention and we saw why in our live eval at the Augustana Prospect Camp. We had him as a camp jumper before June started as Dax was a linebacker that would have been hard to miss with the eye-test. He’s gotten much more fluid in what I saw out of his live reps and I like the growth I saw with his skillsets he showed off in pass coverage as one that brought a thumper mentality to a skillset that he has intriguing upside to grow over the next two seasons with the Cavaliers.

Dax is our LB2 in the 2028 SD class and is one of a few in this 2028 class from Sioux Falls Jefferson I would expect to get attention this summer at college camps. The 6’1 220 pound linebacker, gives you hard hitter you want at the linebacker position and that’s not all. With that size, I am really impressed with how rangy Dax can be around the edges as it’s hard to miss on this young man’s motor he’s continued to grow now heading into his soon-be junior year with the Cavaliers. He’s going to surely be one I will be tracking at college camps this summer as one that could get into that early one to offer target list.

. Dax is another one you can see the motivation firing away in the weight room this spring, as another Wachal brother I have constantly seen on the Jefferson big board this winter and spring and has sprouted out his frame this spring. It’s evident to me that there is a friendly competition of who comes into that DL2 spot by next update as hopefully we get the live evals we need to firm up who gets which spot at college camps this summer as Dax and Shep are very close in competition as we’ve ever seen on tape, etc.
