Augustana Prospect Camp: Dakotas Skill Standouts Pt. 2

We had him as a camp jumper before June started as Dax was a linebacker that would have been hard to miss with the eye-test. He showed off as one that showed off his big hands and sizable catch radius that you can tell has developed in both of those skillsets since the fall season ended. Looking at Tyler from a route-running perspective, I could also grasp the growth from a fluidity perspective from start to finish on short and intermediate routes. We had him graded as a quarterback orginally in the 2027 class, but with the athleticism I saw in the live reps at the tight end position he surely showed that TE could be a fit for him at the next-level with grow to his frame. Ayms was one of the more coachable tight ends I also grasped out of that group, as the new info he picked up he seemed to be able to quickly translate that to his live reps. To say this young man is explosive is an understatement, as Boche was one of the most twitchy wide receivers I got to watch last Sunday in Sioux Falls. He's grown even more with his sure hands since my last live eval and what I liked most about what Boche's reps on Sunday, was his relentlessness to get over the top of what was a physical group of defensive backs, but was able to use his athleticism to his advantage to have great success in his 1v1 reps. He jumped a quickly eye-catching 9'7 broad jump during the testing session at the Augustana Prospect Camp, which the translation of those explosive traits to the live reps showed Brayden as one of my favorite Dakotas running backs at camp last Sunday. He showed off the sudden burst and start to finish fluidity I wanted to see out of the 5'11 190 pounder and during RB/LB drills, didn't take long to show off how agile this young man is from a change of direction perspective either.
