One of the 2029 offensive linemen that didn’t take long to catch our attention at the end of the OL/DL session at the SDSU Prospect Camp, was South Dakota 2029 OL1

. The 6’5 275 pounder from Sioux Falls Jefferson, certainly has the length at his disposal with his striking hands, but what also struck a chord with Caden in his live eval is the growth of his lower body. His footwork shows off more range to cover with his wide base which put together the nasty-physicality you want duirng 1v1s.

Off the first look at Caden’s recent tape, you can see how much the size alone overwhelms incoming pass-rushers. It seems like from watching him from the early season, Caden has taken a step forward with his footwork and I still love the upside this young man has brewing as he’s gotten bigger already in the weight room at 6’5 260 (was 6’5 250 before the season). With all of Caden’s size, I would love to see growth too with his pad-level and there’s no doubt there’s more aggression brewing in those hands as our OL1 in the 2029 SD class.

our second prospect in our top five out of Sioux Falls Jefferson. You can’t miss as an evaluator with his eye-popping 6’5 250 pound size as one that it’s clear that he has some strength at his disposal, being a top-tier shotputter in track and field as one of the most sizable targets we have thus far in the 2029 class in the Dakotas. Caden is an offensive linemen that his strength alone generates quick physicality against his competition he goes up against and when you look at this frame, you certainly can see this young man still has plenty of room to fill out his frame in the coming years. I feel he has one of the most sizable upsides in our 2029 SD class as one we will be watching closely for this fall to see how he develops.
