Jase is our WR1 in the 2027 class and is a Augustana commit that had a monster game against rival Sioux Falls Roosevelt, as Jase went for eight receptions, 144 receiving yards, and a touchdown in their 41-0 win over the Roughriders. The explosive plays Jase had coming out of the slot were consistently seen, as give Jase any ounce of space in the middle of the field as he was going to utilize his downfield explosiveness to his advantage. That is something that has been all too common for Jase in his senior season as Jefferson not only has #1 team in 11AAA at the moment, but I feel they have one of the best receiving cores too with Unzen and Tyson Tycz Tyson Tycz 5'11" | 185 lbs | WR Jefferson | 2027 State SD who is riser in this 2027 class.

This week we feature for the first time, our WR! and WR2 in the same class as Jase Unzen Jase Unzen 5'10" | 180 lbs | WR Jefferson | 2027 State SD of Sioux Falls Jefferson also made our Big Dogs of the Week in South Dakota for Week 8/9. The 5’10 170 pounder is one of the most intirguing 2027 wide receivers in the Dakotas you will find in the open field as that caught my attention deeply this week even more than it had when the 2027 rankings came out. Not only has Jase balanced his stock from his ranking, but this young man is showing he has some of the best hands too in this class as well. Surely a 2027 WR to buy stock on early.

Another newcomer to our 2027 SD wide receiver board is one that caught my attention late in the rankings process, but really impressed was Jase Unzen Jase Unzen 5'10" | 180 lbs | WR Jefferson | 2027 State SD of Sioux Falls Jefferson. Jase is extremely twitchy with his cuts as a route-runner and I would say honestly the most agile in this group of wide receivers at the moment. Jase also is one of the best in the group using that football IQ and agility to get yards after contact and at 5’10 170 pounds, shows off a good sized radius too. He also is dynamic in the return game as just like his WR reps, is very efficent utilzing his twitch and contact balance to find the opening and get to the end zone. Jase also shows off excellent speed from start to finish of his route and is a burner getting seperation with all that speed. He is one that I would expect to stay as one of the top WRs in this 2027 class and hopefully can get to camps this summer and show off his skillsets early to college coaches. Super under the radar in my eyes.
