The camp content is in full swing as the first week of June has finished! With over 100 athletes in attendance at the Augustana Vikings second prospect camp of the summer, we did several circles around Kirkeby-Over Stadium on Sunday afternoon to figure out who the standouts in attendance were. We start it off with our Dakotas skill standouts that caught our attention from start to finish at camp.

We start with who was in my eyes one of the best 2028s in attendance at the Augustana Prospect Camp which was Bismarck Legacy running [player_tooltip player_id='1575830' first='Beckham' last='Presley-McKay']. He surely estalbished why he's our RB1 in the North Dakota 2028 class, as Beckham in the live eval showed off how well-rounded he was during his reps. The 6'1 190 pounder showed off the elusive change of direction I wanted to see as he ran a 6.93 in the L-drill and a 4.18 in the pro-agility and both of those certainly translated to the live reps I watched, as Beckham's ability to make linebackers miss was persistent. What I loved most about what I got out of his live reps was in pass-blocking, as Beckham was showed off great durable hands that was one of few running backs that won just about every rep as it didn't take long to grasp how relentless he was from a work ethic perspective in every rep he was given. He is surely off to a great start to his camp season based on the couple live evals I got of him in Sioux Falls and Brookings.

Easily one of the best 2028s in the Mount Rushmore State in attendance at the Augustana Prospect Camp was Sioux Falls O'Gorman's [player_tooltip player_id='1616931' first='Tanner' last='Charron']. He showed off excellent seperation ability during the 1v1 reps I got to watch on Sunday and ran in the low 4.6s in the 40-yard dash as well which checked out, as Tanner ran a 10.74 100-meter dash during track season for the Knights. Tanner also showed off great hands during the reps I was able to watch on Sunday in Sioux Falls as you could quickly gauge the grow he's made from his sophomore season into camp season along with growth with his route-tree on all three levels. He should be another one out of this group that gets a bump up our rankings from his camp season perfomance thus far.

Ethan was another North Dakotan in attendance this time in the 2027 class and was one that showed off some intriguing skillsets that I watched on Sunday at the Augustana Prospect Camp in Sioux Falls. He might not have been the biggest linebacker in attendance, but Ethan's football IQ caught my attention the reps I got to watch. He showed off well-versed change of direction in the LB/RB drills as a linebacker that surely possesses the higher games-speed than you might see in reflection to his testing numbers. I also felt like his athleticism he showed off in those reps translated with more range than you might expect. The 5'10 185 pounder from West Fargo Sheyenne surely is one that has the upside from a position flexibility standpoint as I could also see him as strong safety at the next-level due to his range he shows off.

One of the best quarterback performances I saw amongst underclassmen at the Augustana Prospect Camp on Saturday, came from Pierre T.F. Riggs 2028 [player_tooltip player_id='2159836' first='Jerren' last='Deal']. His accuracy was the first skillset that popped out at the Augustana Prospect Camp as Jerren showed it off not only well from the pocket, but even better with his throws outside of the pocket. He also showed that his release has gotten even quicker since the season ended from the reps I got to watch. Jerren shows that he surely could be a climber amongst the quarterback group in this 2028 class who showed an eye-catching first camp performance in our eyes.

Recently featured in our South Dakota LB Focus for 2027s to watch for this summer, was Rapid City Christian linebacker [player_tooltip player_id='1293176' first='Reed' last='Lindberg']. I liked what I saw from Reed with how he finished his camp at the Augustana Prospect Camp on Sunday, as on his last few reps I got to watch he showed off growing forceful hands getting off blocks. The other reps I saw out of Reed showed off soft get off hands in which the balance between the two surely show why I feel this young man should gather more interest this summer as the 6'1 200 pounder was a tackling machine in his junior year with the Comets, and I would expect an even bigger campaign headed into his senior season. Another one from this Dakotas group that I loved the character he has as well.

A South Dakota 2027 running back that has made significant waves this recruiting season and did so at the Augustana Prospect Camp was Sioux Valley's [player_tooltip player_id='1319706' first='Logan' last='Mohn']. I had Logan as one of my Camp Jumpers previewing camp season and he showed off why at Augustana as one of the most well-rounded running backs in testing with a 9'4 broad jump, 31' vertical, 6.93 L-drill and 4.18 in the pro agility. Logan showed off excellent footwork that displayed the change of direction he has at his disposal as one of the most elusive running backs in attendance. He was another one that had some promising pass-blocking reps, as the amount of physical hands and finish that Logan showed tell you even more why he's trended already as one that will jump his stock this camp season. He also shows off the Grade A character college coaches should want in the running back room.

One of the best tight ends that was in attendance at the Augustana Prospect Camp was Harrisburg's [player_tooltip player_id='1263887' first='Grady' last='Wolbrink']. Grady impressed me with his hands on the few high traffic catches I watched him make last Sunday in Sioux Falls. He was one of the better tight ends in attendance utilzing his vision around the edges of the field after the catch and took some of the best angles to advance the ball upfield. He also improved with that skillset quickly, as Grady also showed off his coachability with the reps I was able to watch on Sunday at Augustana. Grady has also gotten more fluid with his get off the snap, as the 6'3 225 pound should continue to get more NSIC attention as summer camps keep rolling on this June into July.

Probably the most intriguing South Dakota 2027 stockrisers at the Augustana prospect camp in my eyes, came from Sioux Falls Jefferson defensive [player_tooltip player_id='2110225' first='Habonimana' last='Fidel'] who also was one of my first prospects from the Mount Rushmore State that passed the eye test quickly. He ran an eye-catching 4.55 40 yard at around the size listed in his PRZ profile and what was even more impressive was his live reps. Habonimana was relentless in his 1v1 reps on Sunday, as his on-ball physicality drove a handful of wide receivers off the edges as he also showed off well-versed ball-tracking ability in the reps I watched as the range he has at his disposal was evident in his reps. He'll surely be one due to his camp performance that will easily move into our top 100 overall in South Dakota as he'll move up a ways.
