. I liked what I saw from Reed with how he finished his camp at the Augustana Prospect Camp on Sunday, as on his last few reps I got to watch he showed off growing forceful hands getting off blocks. The other reps I saw out of Reed showed off soft get off hands in which the balance between the two surely show why I feel this young man should gather more interest this summer as the 6’1 200 pounder was a tackling machine in his junior year with the Comets, and I would expect an even bigger campaign headed into his senior season. Another one from this Dakotas group that I loved the character he has as well.

A 2027 linebacker that has gotten solid interest but surprisely doesn’t have his first offer yet is our first West River linebacker in our LB focus group, Rapid City Christian’s

. Kick his current ranking aside, as he will be going up by next update as Reed is one of the harder hitters in South Dakota and always comes to the ball with a lot of tenacity. He’s added some size and frame now at 6’1 200 pounds which are solid measurables for the next-level at linebacker, as Reed not only makes his tackles early in the inside box, but can get to the edges and show the downhill contact ability he can create. Surely one that is due to pick up his first offer soon.

Next we meet the young man who led the state of South Dakota last year in tackles with 161, which came from

of Rapid City Central. It doesn’t take long to see the high motor that Reed plays with when he gets downhill as he shows off to be a human hit stick on his first on tape. The 6’1 200 pounder also plays with solid range and I swear, not only was he the leading tackler in South Dakota last year, but this young man could be in my top-tier for hardest hitters in the state too. Super light D2 interest at the moment and if I were a D2 school in the RMAC or NSIC, I would get on Reed quickly!
