Daevion has surely been the bellcow of the Cavaliers rushing attack for a couple years now as the Sioux Falls running back commit showed that yet again in their gritty win over Brandon Valley last night. Looking at our 2026 rankings, its hard to see if there is another running back in the class that runs as well thru contact as Daevion does, as everytime he gets the ball the mentality shows an RB that is going to run thru someone versus shift around someone which was evident last night in my live eval.

Stat Line: 224 rushing yards, three touchdowns
Daevion was business as usual in the Cavaliers 42-14 win over Sioux Falls Washington last week. Our RB2 in the South Dakota 2026 class not only was wired with the usual durable nature he has getting constant yards after contact like he has done over the years, but man I love how his instincts and vision have grown even since last season. Just how much quicker Daevion is seeing the open field with his vision and making his cuts to find even more green grass upfield is different this year. He certainly has a 3 week tape you will want to check out, college coaches.

Daevion is a young man that I have seen the progression from his sophomore now into his incoming season year especially with his agility as he always seems to unlock his hips quickly whether it is an in season eval or during 7v7 with the Sioux Falls Sharks. Daevion is also a workhorse in the weight room that just keeps developing his craft.

It seems like week after week Daevion blossoms on tape with the skillsets I saw all summer long. This week, you have to give credit to the growth of this young man’s vision as he gotten so much more elusive with his footwork and patience within the inside box and logged two touchdowns last week and over 100 yards rushing in the Cavaliers win over Sioux Falls Washington. He got every hard-earned yard he could get last week against the Warriors for sure as a RB I could see jumping up some spots when our 2026 rankings come out. Twitter

. I love the instinct Daevion plays with and his versatility in the run and pass-catching game show off his elusiveness highly. He also is a RB prospect that really checks my boxes with his fluidity, as Daevion in my eyes plays bigger than his measurables show as one with sound durability off contact.
