Jones is coming off a breakout year for Carmel and looked good doing it. He’s got a decent frame and can play both the first and second levels. He’s got the range to drop back into coverage as an LB when needed and the strength to press the line when asked. He’s got a good swipe that will remove OL contact and break him free. He’s shifty in short areas for a guy his size, which helps him break down and make open-field tackles. He put up 55 tackles, 9 TFLs, 5 sacks, 1 PBU, and a fumble recovery in year 1 starting. He’ll likely be a Senior leader upfront and has himself primed for a big year.
