Ayden Johnson Ayden Johnson 5'11" | 205 lbs | RB Carmel | 2028 State IN has been on my radar for a long time. I saw him in-person last season v. Trinity, and it is only a matter of time before the 5-foot-10, 190-pound running back takes off, and 2026 could be his year. Johnson is a good between-the-tackles runner who finishes forward on contact. He displays good burst and adequate sped through holes, and is very good in short yardage.

Johnson is a physical downhill back who runs with good strength and contact balance. He’s not going to go down easily on first contact and squares his pads when he’s making contact. He protects the ball and carries it high and tight. He can run through arm tackles and always seems to be falling forward. He has the frame and build to develop into a good three-down back as well, and can be an outlet for the QB. I like how he presses the line and doesn’t dance coming up to the line. He rushed for 441 yards and 8 TDs on the ground and should be the full-time workhorse back this season.
